Review of Xanadu (1980) by Tom S — 10 Jan 2008
Well, this was suicide inducing. If you actually WANT to watch this, first watch the opening song and dance number to "I'm Alive". The effects and overall concept are hilariously poor, though the song is REALLY catchy.
Then, skip to the last chapter on the DVD and watch the whole club opening "Xanadu" song sequence. It will change your life...or may tempt you to rip your eyeballs out of their sockets. Whichever.
Oh, this was also choreographed by the guy who did both High School Musicals...if that tells you anything. The only redeeming feature is all of the ELO music, which is total guilty pleasure material in itself.
