Review of Xanadu (1980) by Carly S — 19 May 2009

It seems like there was a very thin plot line, and Michael Beck was an awful actor in this movie. A lot of things felt unmotivated, and the movie was like some excuse to try to use some cool color effects and were hip & cool in the 80s.

I didn't see the Broadway musical, but just from looking at clips on youtube, and I think the whole story works a lot better on stage then on the screen.
