Review of Xanadu (1980) by Andy C — 01 Apr 2011
Although this farce was critically panned in its initial release the music has remained untainted and it shows. The 'plot' is a gas and some of the choreography alternates between dull rollerskating sequences and line dancing; clearly this was a paycheck for all involved.
Olivia Newton-John deserves most of the credit for this films' survival since the mixing of musical tones is the only thing worth noting about. A true cult film.
