I don't know if its the best superhero movie of the last 15 years, but its the one I most enjoy re-watching. Singer continues equating the mutants with social outcasts in the real world, only this time he makes a more direct connection with discrimination against homosexuals.
Its an effective reference and one that thankfully isn't beaten into the ground.
