Review of X2 (2003) by Yousif V — 22 May 2014
Everything kind of gels in this 'X-Men' sequel, delivering more on every level of what people liked about the first film. There's still a few clunky scenes and performances in the mix, but the good bits -- like the addition of Alan Cummings' Nightcrawler, for example -- more than makes up for this.
Bryan Singer also seems to have taken criticisms about his ability to direct action to heart, and offers up some rousing sequences. Not perfect, but still the best X-Men movie until 'Days of Future Past.
