Bit of a drop in quality compared to the first xmen film in my eyes. I think I would have preferred it if there was more focus on the old favourites instead of trying to include as many new mutants as they could.
I thought the various story lines were good, such as Wolverine learning his past, the romance between the iceman and rogue, but I don't think they gave each story the time they deserved and it didn't help that the main storyline was trying to be crammed into the background which ended up with a lot of the film felt a bit rushed and muddled.
