Review of X2 (2003) by Mitchell Z — 17 Feb 2015
X2 is an overall better film than the first film. Better action, better storyline, and better acted. But it isn't as focused as the first one was, with plot lines dangling throughout and never coming to a close.
And if you thought a great character like Cyclops was being underused in X-Men, its even worse so here. But Alan Cumming's Nightcrawler and Brian Cox's Stryker are two great additions to the film, and Bryan Singer creates another great superhero film that still entertains today.
