Review of X2 (2003) by Jeje W — 22 Jan 2017
X2 is a great sequel. Hugh Jackman is back as Wolverine and he is better than ever. Of course, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen are great in the movie, but what surprised me was that Anna Paquin was a lot better than she was in the first X-Men.
She seemed to take the role a lot more serious and was more convincing. The movie was a little slow in the first act or so and the cliché "Creator wants to use his old creation to dominate" bothers me a little.
Overall, X2 was a lot of fun and it gets an 8/10.
