Review of X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) by Matthew D — 30 Apr 2014
Held together by Hugh Jackman's always strong lead and his key relationships with his brother, lover and boss, just about sustains the movie in the first two acts, but in the final third story gives over to poor action; fights which feel they have no stakes, and it ultimately fails in it's prequel remit.
