Review of X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) by Dame M — 17 May 2014
After the second viewing its not the disaster I remembered it to be. Hugh Jackman is still great as Wolverine, the fight scene between him and Schrieber is pretty good and the origin story seem interesting.
But still, the movie could have used a bit more rigorous editing, the fight scene with Wolverine, Gambit and Saber-tooth starts great and then quickly dissolves into silliness and Dead pool's character (if you can call it that) is criminally distorted.
And let's not forget about the horrendous special effects (Wolverine's claws look like cardboard cutouts glued to his hands)!
