Review of X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) by Daniel S — 04 Jun 2014

I was looking forward to this movie and I was quite disappointed, to be frank. The script lacks depth and the build up toward climax ultimately didn't quite deliver. A classic case where more special effects doesn't always make a better movie.

If you're looking for a balance between purpose-driven storyline and action scenes in the tradition of the first two X-Men flicks (or any good action movie, really), this movie doesn't have much of it.
