Review of X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) by Thomas L — 24 Jul 2014
As if X-men 3 was not bad enough! The only thing that keeps this from being a total disaster is Jackman's performance as Wolverine. The rest is a forced, boring, clicéd, predictable and bland insult to the whole damn franchise! I could not give a single crap about the old couple who let Wolverine into their house for one night, though the movie wanted us to care deeply for them.
The design for Deadpool is still the most insulting portrayal of a comic book character to date. And the ending makes absolutely no damn sense and creates a giant continuity error with the other films.
I guess Gambit was pretty cool as well, but that is about it.
