Review of X-Men: First Class (2011) by Jon J — 05 Aug 2013
X-men: First Class is definitely a first class movie. Directed by Matthew Vaughn, this film takes an old school James Bond approach with some kick-ass action and works extremely well. The film is set in the early 1960 during the Cuban missile crisis and looks at the beginning of how the X-men originated and at the conflicts which arise between Xavier and Magneto.
The film is energetic, exciting and nostalgic.
