Better than X-Men and X-Men: United but not as exciting as Last Stand. At points if tries too hard to connect the characters to their future, for example... "I wanna be called Mystique" This code names scene makes me cringe.
Overall a good origins story that could have been further developed if only it had stopped trying to link everything into one film.
