Review of X-Men: First Class (2011) by Sean H — 30 May 2014
A wonderful surprise. A couple of minor flaws cannot supress what is bloody good fun, provoking and even a little emotional. Some uninspiring characters surround what is a power house of a performance from Michael Fassbender as he vengefully pursues Kevin Bacon.
James McAvoy does a wonderful turn as Xavier, but this is without doubt Fassbenders film, and is as a result quite unmissable.
