Review of X-Men: First Class (2011) by Mark M — 02 Oct 2014
With an excellent narrative grounded in the X-Men mythos, with even higher stakes compared to the original trilogy's plot, along with an equally superb younger cast to replace their equally superb older counterparts, X-Men: First Class is a solid prequel to the original X-Men trilogy, and Matthew Vaughn does a great job in reinvigorating the franchise after the cataclysmic failure which was X-Men: The Last Stand.
I look forward to Brian Singer merging his X-Men trilogy with Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class in X-Men: Days of Future Past.
