X-Men 1st Class is an excellent prequel to the X-Men franchise of the movie series. It shows the friendship between Professor X and Mystique before she turned bad. It remakes the scene from the 1st X-Men movie.
But if you watch this then watch Origins Wolverine or X-Men 3 Last Stand it won't make sense entirely. But I don't think it was meant to be a full tie in. Never the less a kick ass movie.
