Review of X-Men: First Class (2011) by Kristi M — 22 Oct 2013
I've been kind of meh about the whole X-Men movie line up until this movie, which was surprisingly great. I probably wouldn't have watched it except that it happened to come on after something I was watching on TV ended and got sucked into it.
I think a lot of that is because I never related any back story in the X-Men line and always felt like I was thrown into watching characters I was supposed to already know about but didn't because I never read any of the comics.
This takes the characters and brings them to life....a coming of age story X-Men style. Dare I say it but it took a twist similar to Watchmen in regards to motive.
