Review of X-Men: First Class (2011) by Sam D — 04 Apr 2014

Finally an x men movie that has something other than Hugh Hackman holding up the entire film! James mcavoy is brillian, as is Jennifer Lawrence, however, the real show stealers were Kevin bacon and Michael fassbender, Kevin was delightfully vilanous, seeming to revel in the freedom of the part and the ability to change accent from scene to scene.

Fassbender was just amazing, the seething energy he created literally emanated from the screen, you could feel it as soon as he came into shot. He not only stole every scene he was in, but also the entire movie, a sequel is a must! I can't wait to see where the characters go between here and the first of the original trilogy.
