As an unabashed lover of the Marvel films, but NOT a lover of the X-Men films, I was really not sure what to expect here.
I'd heard good things, and they were mostly spot on, but personally speaking I'm just tired of constant X-Men movies. They never seem to bring anything new to the table.
The cast is strong, and it's well written, but there's nothing new here. Let's just say that without the legend that is Michael Fassbender, this would be crap, in my opinion.
