Review of X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) by Bryan C — 14 Jul 2016
Definitely second best movie of the year. Great acting, special effects, action. Everything that makes a movie great is in this movie. That is all in the directing. Bryan Singer does a fantastic job of balancing the past and future well.
It spends most of its time in the past but there's not much going on in the future until the third act. Pretty much I'll just say that everyone who hated the last stand will want to hug Bryan Singer and (hehe) sing his praise while Brett Ratner is plotting to kill him.
