Days of Future Past is easily one of the most acclaimed X-men stories in their 50 year history, and while this film deviates and twists to tell their own story it still lives up to not only the spirit of the books as well as the quality of storytelling.
The X-Men franchise has been riddled with plot holes and continuity errors and this film certainly tried to clear them up. I look forward to seeing where they take things next. Bring on the 1980s in X-Men Apocolypse!
