Days of future past brings together everything great about the series, fantastic performances by this incredible ensemble of cast members, spectacular action set pieces, and a truly engaging story of time travel and human prejudice.

It's most notable featurse might be that it erases the past movies in order to start anew, for better or for worse, the second feature being that it is based on one of the greatest comic books in X-men history.

This is the reset button on the series, that will hopefully bring it back on track.
