Review of X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) by Mark C — 25 Dec 2014
The time travel element is rather generic and as a result the movie played out exactly as predicted. One very cool scene though with quicksilver, but it ended way too fast.
I do not read the comics so I cannot verify, but it seems to me that the script was tailor made to make Mystique a pivotal character just because they cannot possibly have Jennifer Lawrence wander in the background like poor Hallie Berry. The whole thing just feels uninspired.
