Review of X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) by Liam W — 22 Mar 2015

After the relative success of 'Future Class' I was surprised to see the old fart characters re introduced so soon. Surely there were avenues that the writers could have taken the franchise, as I really don't think the original crew offered anything.

Wolverine was his same old self, and a character that I think has been very overused. Dinklage was the standout performance, as he provided an interesting and unique foe. Action sequences were predictably good, although the plot and overall story did not overly excite me, and it failed to live up to both my expectations and its prequel.
