Review of X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) by Thomas P — 29 Aug 2016
Bigger stunts, even broader more epic visuals, and yet oddly loses focus and momentum.
Too big for its own britches, its ultimately lackluster and not memorable, despite the fanfare.
Stronger character development and a more compelling emotional connection would have solved some problems - see the Avengers films for how its done right - but for what is here, its just decently ok.
3 intense glares out of 5.
