Review of X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) by Dave E — 12 Sep 2016
Enjoyable to watch as it is another step in the series.
Problems were Apocolypse never at all felt anyways dangerous until the last battle scene. Personally as a fan of Apocolypse and the four horsemen, I felt that the horsemen/woman were more Bebop and Rocksteady (TMNT) than four horsemen.
Archangel was pivetel and downright dangerous as a horsemen and yet in this, he felt blundered and just visual background filler to Cameo of Olivia Munn playing Psylocke.
The action was okay at times but down right quirky at others with poor wire work to CGI that would make any director actually caring about his final product, cringe.
All in all entertaining, but left me with a horrible taste in my mouth and desire to go back to the X-Men cartoon from the 90's to hear a smooth sultry voice of a real voice actor playing a cold, calculated, menacing Apocolypse..
