Review of X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) by Michael V — 07 Apr 2017
The X-Men franchise is getting stale quickly. For an action/adventure movie it was good but in comparison to other Xmen movies it's subpar. I expected Apocalypse to be much more powerful and terrifying. The star of the show is easily Quicksilver, for the second time in a row.
I would be ok with saying goodbye and rebooting this franchise in a few years. I think Marvel needs to get its hands on the X-Men.
