Review of X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) by Devo-Nc — 10 Oct 2016

Better than First Class but nowhere near the level of Days of Future Past. What brings Apocalypse down is the over-the-top climax. The studio cashed a lot of money into making this film. It is definitely the most visually extravagant X-men picture to date, and that isn't a good thing.

This is the 'Avengers' of the X-men universe, bringing more classic mutant characters in one to the big screen than ever before. If you're looking to see the one most clearly-driven epic of this saga where these character's have hit their prime, Apocalypse is the one.
