Review of X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) by Arseniy V — 21 Jul 2016
While not the strongest of the new X-men Trilogy, it is certainly not the worst x-men movie we have ever seen. Suffering from bringing in a bunch of characters with little to no development, you are still left with great action pieces, The Quicksilver moment in this movie is a must see feature in the movie.
All the bad guys feel like after thoughts besides Apocalypse. Had they cut out some characters to give time to develop others more this could be a much better film. However for what is here, Oscar Issac kills it as Apocalypse, all the returning cast nail their roles again.
Though the newer members are under whelming. leading to a bit of a mixed bag. When its good, it is really good, when its bad its really bad. If you are an x-men fan it is still worth seeing, though dont expect anything on the level of the last two.
