Review of X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) by Late R — 16 Aug 2017
Although never boring regarding the action sequences, 'X-Men: Apocalypse' is a prime example of VFX over substance. Despite the abundance of talent involved and some inspired moments that could have evolved into something interesting but never did, you can't help but feel that it's not only a bit of a muddled mess, but a somewhat bland and pointless one, too.
