Review of Wyatt Earp (1994) by Jacob N — 07 Dec 2007
I hate to say it, but the movie was simply too long. It wasn't that it was slow - westerns like High Noon show you don't need 20 gunfights to have a great western. Rather, the movie plays on a story we all know and adds nothing to the discourse.
It lacks the wit and charm of Tombstone (and frankly, even the action of that movie as well).
