Review of Wyatt Earp (1994) by Sam R — 05 Apr 2008
Kevin Costner's approach to the legend of Wyatt Earp is very much focused on Earp's life from youth to old age. Its a good in depth movie, with lots of charm, and though Costner may not be to everyone's taste, the character of Wyatt Earp becomes consumed by the darkness around him and becomes one of the gloomier characters in the film.
Gene Hackman, Tom Sizemore, Michael Madsen, Bill Pullman and Isobella Rossalini buff up the cast with notable performances, and the hat must be taken off to Dennis Quaid as the ever-charming, ever-drunk, Doc Holliday.
