If you watch this movie expecting another Tombstone, you are setting yourself up for failure. The characters are not interchangeable between the movies. If you desire to watch a movie with historical accuracy and spot on type casting, this is the movie for you.
Fans of Deadwood will appreciate this movie. Fans of the original Tombstone will be closer to 60/40 like/dislike. It is an incredibly long movie at over 3 hours long, but don't let that scare you.
I cannot recommend this movie enough to fans of westerns.
