Review of Wuthering Heights (2011) by Jarrin R — 12 Sep 2011
Another amazing film from Andrea Arnold. Her innovative camera work really takes you inside the relationship of Cathy and Heathcliff in a way that no other adaptation has done before. The lead actors (both young and older versions) were a revelation: naturalistic and stunning to look at.
I also love her use of sound - a horse breathing, the wind on the moors, the flutter of moth wings - so, so beautiful.
