Review of Wuthering Heights (2011) by Marj D — 15 Nov 2011

I'm sure that technically this film is amazing but I can't get past the fact that Wuthering Heights is a horribly depressing story with very unlikeable characters. I have to give the guy who played young Heathcliff his due because he managed to hold my attention despite having about 3 lines of dialogue in the whole thing.

This leads me to believe this is perhaps a story best left in novel form as, with such a brooding and silent protagonist, so much of the interesting emotions are internal.
