Review of Wuthering Heights (2011) by Panos M — 06 Jan 2012
Wuthering Heights probably deserves a higher rate (perhaps 3 1/2 stars) since the direction and the photography are truly amazing (you can feel the gloomy atmosphere of the British country) while it is a dark and rough adaptation of a classic novel, stripped from any significance of romance.
Still, all the acts of animal cruelty that take place (and are plenty) cannot be tolerated. It is a lame way to provoke, completely atrocious.
