Review of Wuthering Heights (1992) by S. G — 11 Apr 2006
I like this movie... of course, it doesn't do the book justice, but, most adaptations don't, and that doesn't stop them from being excellent movies. Ralph Fiennes playes the best Heathcliff I have seen in a movie, and, even though this isn't her best performance ever Juliette Binoche playes the double role of Cathy, and Cathy's daughter with Linton, and does a good job, especially in portraying the first.
Binoche's chemistry with Fiennes is pretty powerful, and good chemistry between the leading actors is always fun to watch. All in all, not bad stuff, not bad at all.
