Review of Wuthering Heights (1992) by Helen H — 10 Sep 2006
My teacher let us watch this in our Year 13 English class. Everytime I watched it I understood more about this movie. Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche play the ultimate duo. Although Binoche drowned out the dark romantacism of some of the major parts by have a little high pitched scretch in her shouting. This by far is the best romance novel ever. The language is a little difficult to decipher in places, and some of the acting can be better done by some of the actors of shortland street (the actors on shortland street are awful! They are all lucky to have work). Once I saw this film once I was intrigued, and mostly by the themes of dark romantacism, injustice and Heathcliffs nature versus nurture argument.
Love it.
