Review of Wuthering Heights (1992) by Clare O — 12 May 2008
Ralph Fiennes is perfectly cast as Heathcliff and Juliette Binoche makes a decent stab at Cathy in this adaptation. It doesn't quite work because the plot has to be too brutally compressed, but it's the best version we have of this magnificent and probably unfilmable novel.
