Review of Wuthering Heights (1992) by Matthew H — 12 Mar 2009
This film is but a branch of the tree that is the novel Wuthering Heights. Emily Bronte must be turning over in her grave at this adaptation...the film rushes through the story, deleting whole sections of the book, with no character development and none of the heart-wrenching emotions that are evoked in the book.
I'm going to have to read the book again just to get this disappointing film out of my head.
