Review of Wrongfully Accused (1998) by Kristián K — 08 Sep 2008
Against all odds, Pat Profts 1998 solo effort, Wrongfully Accused, is nothing less than hilarious. Although the film definitely looses steam towards the end - not unlike the last of the Naked Gun films - the first half is more than worth it, delivering almost wall-to-wall laughs.
Leslie Nielsen is clearly having a blast, plowing his way through the ridiculous scenario, and true fans of the Zucker/Proft comedies of the 80s and early 90s, should definitely go along for the ride.
