Review of Wrong Turn (2003) by Billy P — 19 Mar 2009
This movie was pretty good. The deformed guys kind of look like they could have been Amish at one point or another before their entire family became deformed inbreds. The one freak even had a really creepy personality(he licked his lips a bunch and giggled a lot.
..weird). This does rock compared to it's sequel(even with the lack of the Bruce Campbell-like Henry Rollins). The only thing that bothered me were the characters they were killing. I thought Eliza Dushku did a great job at the character she played.
The other characters were either annoying or way too boring. Especially that dark haired girl, she was a drag. Other than that it had cool kills and lots of action-packed scenes. Just like any movie it's scarier to put yourself in the situation of the characters.
There was no nudity, which brings down the rating a little bit. But not a bad movie about deformed slasher cannibals. The remake of The Hills Have Eyes sucks compared to this...especially cause that movie sucks anyway.
