Review of Wrong Turn (2003) by George T — 13 May 2009

Not as good as I thought it would be. I mean, it has all the usual slasher stuff and a good amount of gore, but I thought the plot was really lacking. the mutated in-bred mountain men was a really cool idea but there was no backstory! they could have made the backstory really awesome and creepy and in my opinion they completey wasted that opportunity.

I also thought the characters were really annoying, I don't know if that was a deliberate choice by the filmmakers, but usually you should have some decent character development in order to make their bloody deaths more potent, right? overall I was disappointed.

wrong turn is just like every other average slasher. boring.
