It's the last one you'll ever take.

My favorite of the lot. Intense, thrilling, and at times nail-biting. Gory, yes. Scary, yes. But did it deserve to be followed by two sequels? I don't think so. This would have done better as a single film, but if you leave a cliff-hanging blockbuster film, well, it's almost expected that you're going to do another film. ;) Not a lot of actors were used in the film, which is good, since you find it easy to follow them as they progress through the film. A few goofs, but it's all good.

Chris Finn (Harrington) is on his way to an uber important meeting when he is caught in traffic. He decides to take a detour through an unmarked path, but ends up crashing into a car parked in the middle of the road. There, he meets Francine (Booth), Evan (Zegers), Scott (Sisto), Carly (Chiriqui), and Jessie (Dushku), friends who were supposed to go camping when their car ran over a line of barbed wires which were tied to tree trunks and spread over the road. Jessie is determined to find a house with a telephone, and Evan and Francine volunteer to stay with the car while Chris, Jessie, Scott, and Carly decide to go for help. Unbeknownst to the group, a family of mutated cannibal hillbillies are hunting them down and killing them off, one by one. Now, they must find a way to get help, before they take a wrong turn and end up becoming tonight's dinner.

Eerie, and the death scenes.. whooo. Go see this film IF you're a horror fan.
