Review of Wrong Turn (2003) by James W — 20 Nov 2013
Despite a poor opening with events that happen too abruptly and messy camerawork, the rest of Wrong Turn features consistent scares and extremely tense moments which are gut wrenching to watch. The terrifying look of the cannibals give the movie the creepy edge it needs, plus there are some great characters worth following.
I'll admit the plot is basic horror ingredients but this movie features so many exciting scenes, look out for the tree climbing scene. A good, gory horror that benefits from strong lead performances by Eliza Dushku and Emmanuelle Chriqui.
