Review of Wrong Turn 2: Dead End (2007) by Joe A — 25 Sep 2009
Direct to DVD sequel is very entertaining but in different ways then the original. The first was a good straight forward horror, while the sequel amuses by being completely over the top and with a campy sense of humor.
The last half hour is a ridiculously gory blood bath that can't help but bring quite a few chuckles as it's just too much to take seriously and the film knows it. Henry Rollins blowing up mutant rednecks with dynamite sticks tied to arrows is definitely worth the rental alone.
