Review of Wristcutters: A Love Story (2007) by Ryan K — 21 Jan 2009
By the titles and plot synopsis, this film might appear to be 1 hour and 28 minutes of depressing content. but it is anything but. this film takes something as sad and heartbreaking as suicide and morphs it into an extremely interesting and clever story.
The chemistry between Patrick Fugit and Shannyn Sossamon is wonderful. In my opinion, it is Fugit's best performance since "Almost Famous." This film is an indie classic for the ages.
