Review of Wristcutters: A Love Story (2007) by Tristan W — 08 Jan 2012
It kills getting dumped, in this original love story that takes place between life and the afterlife. It felt kinda empty and dull first watching this... but as you pay attention, THAT'S THE POINT! Everyone's dead (some more than others), and are trying to find purpose as to what to do now after committing suicide.
It's about finding love and happiness in the unhappiest of places. Funny, weird, uncalled for, emotional, and meaningful... it brings us to question our conclusive decisions, whether it's worth it or worth seeing the possibility of a happy ending.
Good thing, this film has one.
