Review of Wristcutters: A Love Story (2007) by Mark N — 05 Apr 2012
Charming existentialist movie where suicides find themselves in a hot Texas like limbo. Fugit is charming as ever where he and some new friends set out on an afterlife road-trip to find his ex-girlfriend.
What is great about the movie is how you can do so much with story and scenery when you have no budget and a lot of heart. Uplifting despite it's subject matter, that's more a starting point than the focus, and never preachy.
Get past the first scene and you are sure to be entertained in some way.
